“The Hideaway was perfect for what we needed and close to Sea World and Old Town. The house was clean and easy to access, super cute too! My toddler loved the slide in the backyard and the outside table was great for her messy eating. The only things we would change, if it was up to us would be to have a larger couch, it seats 2 and the bed is noisy when anyone moves an inch. We would definitely stay again when visiting SD! ”

“Overall this was a great apartment in a very convenient location across from Balboa park and walking distance to a cool dog park and museums. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was awesome to be able to bring our dog. The check in process was easy. And because they own the entire building there is staff you can talk to during business hours, which is great in case of emergencies. Cons of the place were pretty minor, but I thought still worth mentioning. We checked in late at night and...

“Cute little apartment in close proximity to where we needed to be. The mop & bucket were left in the kitchen, there were no trash bags, no central air, no hand towels and the upstairs people were loud running back and forth at all times of the night. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good and all the appliances worked. Need more outlets in the kitchen. ”

“We rented this house for a long weekend while in town for a friend's wedding, and it was great. The house was nice and everything was very smooth, plus it was walking distance to a few fun neighborhoods (if you don't mind a 20-30 minute walk, which we like to do so we can get to know the areas) and an easy car ride anywhere you could want to go. Would stay again!”

“Amazing tiny home fully furnished with washer and dryer unit. Very close to any needed freeway. Easy drive to the beach. Would come back. ”

“Not at all what appeared in pics, place was extremely dirty, odd smell, sheets were stained , and had dead bugs . Only redeeming quality was that host responded to messages after sharing pics and returned our money for the stay . Additionally was NOT within walking distance of gas lamp district. False advertising. ”

“Our stay was short but so happy to have chosen this location. Prime spot close to freeways and downtown. Clean and spacious unit with comfy beds and amazing shower. Quiet neighborhood, and the in unit laundry was very convenient. Would book again and recommend to friends! ”

“The stay was very pleasant. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Just the neighbors upstairs kept being loud throughout the night but other than that it was nice! Oh, finding the address was a bit difficult. It lead us to 6718 when it’s 6716 next door. ”
