  • Gorgeous country home overlooking the hill country. Enjoy coffee on the screened back porch while watching the native wildlife stroll by. Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher. Lovely gas fireplace to warm up on cold days.

    This is a new listing for us, however we have another VRBO that is a small cabin in the same area. Feel free to see the reviews (4.9 rating).

We had the best time and felt so comfortable during our stay! We visited the area for the Texas Game Fair, we were an exhibitor and our team loved every minute from the relaxing accommodations to all the wildlife. As outdoor lovers, this place was absolutely perfect for us. We'll definitely be back and hope it's available when we return next year!

The property is vast and beautiful. We enjoyed such quiet and privacy. The screened in back porch was our favorite place to be. Breezes and birds. Very relaxing.

We absolutely loved our stay in Fredericksburg! The house was beautifully stocked with everything we could possibly need, which made our trip so comfortable and relaxing. The landscape was gorgeous and peaceful, and one of our favorite parts was getting to feed deer right out of our hands — such a special experience! The property was clean, welcoming, and truly felt like a getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We truly enjoyed our weekend getaway, plenty of wildlife to be seen and a cozy place to rest between activities. Nice property with plenty of space to enjoy privacy and even brought some outdoor games to enjoy.

We had the absolute best time visiting the area. The property was exactly as presented, no problems checking in, and never needed to speak to the owner. The furniture was comfortable, beds were comfortable, the screened in porch was my favorite place to be. We saw several deer everyday, saw one jackrabbit, there were goats on the next property and we saw one axis deer. Hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

We felt the house was very pet friendly. It was secluded and away from the noise and traffic in town which is what we were looking for. The back porch was a great place to relax which we did.

Beautiful place and plan to rent again. A little hick up at first on the address but it worked out. I did purchase a hair dryer for the place that was listed and not there.

Really nice house about 30-minute drive to Fredericksburg. We were there for the 250th July 4th celebrations. House was clean and everything was as it should be. Only small issues were that the Freezer part of fridge couldn't open so we couldn't store any frozen stuff. Only other issue was some of the sheets on the twin beds weren't clean, but we replaced them ourselves with other clean linen available. Really just a couple small issues but overall, really liked the house and the location. Would definitely stay again the next time we're over there.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our family of six had plenty of space, and the kids loved feeding the deer. Kitchen was very well stocked.

Relaxing hill country getaway

We enjoyed our time at the house it’s very clean ,comfortable and relaxing,spend the afternoon on the back porch watching deer in the fields,will definitely book again next time we’re in comfort
