“This is our second time renting Sailboat Cottage. It's a lovely, clean, we'll-appointed house with two bedrooms AND two bathrooms. We enjoyed our time here very much. ”

“We had a great stay. The host was super responsive. The house was easy to find, easy to check-in, and super clean! Perfect for our family (3 adults, 4 kids). We loved the two separate living room spaces, one near the kitchen and one on the lower level. The views from nearly every room of the house were of the lake! The house was comfortable, safe, and nicely set up. Plenty of towels, dishes and seating for a big family. The lake was beautiful. Saw otters and loons. Plenty of chairs to sit near...

“A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!”

“Wir waren 2 Nächte in dieser Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Terrasse hat uns besonders gefallen. Die meisten Räume sind grosszüzig bemessen. Die Aussentreppe zur Eingangstür ist steil, aber zum Glück mit einem Geländer versehen.”

“The neighborhood was nice. Overall it was clean, but could use a little more attention to detail in the bathrooms. The front steps look bad and need to be repainted, the stair railing on the top floor is loose and could be a concern for an accident. We had a nice stay.”

“This is a beautiful cabin right on the lake, very peaceful and relaxing! It is a good location for day trips to Lunenberg and the coast, and Kejimkujik NP. Well equipped kitchen (be sure to get groceries before arriving as limited stores nearby). Two canoes made for a fun day of paddling around the lake from island to island. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“This was the perfect little spot. There was easy access from main roads and down town Halifax. The place was clean, quiet, and the deck at the back was a great spot to sit and relax.The laundry area was a wonderful bonus.”

“The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again.”

“Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay.”
