“Our family of three stayed here for a few days while visiting Hilo. I was very impressed with how clean and nice-looking our rental unit was.The grounds were beautiful with ponds, jungle, and wildlife. My daughter enjoyed the ducks that walked around and even named them. I appreciated the laundry access in the building as well. All the directions given by the host were easy to understand and follow regarding rules and check-in/check-out. Overall we had a pleasant stay, and would 100% reccommend!”

“What a great apartment. Everything was up excellent standards. Many extras like phone charging stations, smart TV with many choices, free wifi, well stocked kitchen, a balcony with a hammock just to name a few. The neighborhood was quiet. Thank you for letting us stay. ”

“The host is very friendly and communicative, and check in was easy. This is an older building, less glossy than a resort, but the units are large, the location is great, and price is right, including no parking fees which is awesome for Hawaii! The view from the lanais is of town, not the lagoon, but the unit is directly over the koi pond and it was fun watching them. The beds were very comfortable, wifi and AC worked well. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“The entire property was magical--such a peaceful and serene area. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Owl Nest. The property was equipped with everything I needed, making my experience completely comfortable. One of my favorite details was how, by opening all the curtains, you feel almost as if you’re sitting outside.
