The hotel staff have variable english skills but they are very helpful. The nearby village has lots of great restaurants. 30 minute drive to Rusutsu.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights. The benefit of being able to wear just socks and walk throughout the hotel is amazing. Being able to use a private onsen on the first floor and in your room is very nice. While food is good, I wouldn't call it great. It's multi-course but always has a hotpot round and you can order extra dishes if you are hungry. If you stay for 2 nights, you can choose your next night's main dish but it's also hotpot style main. Wouldn't recommend staying for food...
