“The onsen was the best I’ve ever been in. The outdoor “wood spas” with about 10 different minerals and essential oils was absolutely fantastic. My only gripe is that the half board meals are identical day to day. I only stayed 2 days, so I’m not sure how frequently the food items change. I will say the selection is giant. “This is not the traditional type of big, luxurious Japanese onsen hotel but it’s new, relaxing, airy and chic. In room bath is great with amazing view from the room. Food (Japanese western fusion) is good and staff is friendly and helpful. There is a noodle bar which opens until late and is impressive for a hotel of this scale.
