“My experience at this hotel was disappointing. I chose it for one specific reason: the pool and spa, so I could enjoy some time with my 3-year-old son. But when we went to the area, we were told that children are not allowed. This crucial restriction, which should be clearly stated at the time of booking, completely undermined the purpose of our stay. The rooms are basic and dated. The mattress was so soft it affected the quality of sleep, and the overall condition of the accommodation feels...

“Amazing! Me and my fiancée Steph came to stay for one night after having done our food tasting at the Talbooth Restaurant for our wedding. Amazing food, staff were really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast to the room in the morning was a nice touch and having the ability to be driven from place to place with their car was very helpful. The spa was lovely and all round we had a great stay and experience. Would stay again and again!!”

“Reception staff were very helpful but restaurant staff were slow to serve. There were very few customers and after giving us the menu and us waiting half an hour, I had to find a different member of staff to come and take my order. This said the restaurant staff were courteous and friendly.”

“Clean rooms with everything you would expect in most hotels. Complimentary water in the room was welcomed especially as we stayed when temperatures were higher. Only upgrade that would be helpful is air-conditioning although we were lucky we had a cross draught with the window and balcony doors which helped hugely.
