“The moment you step into the hotel you get the feeling of being in a 5 star hotel. A warm welcome from the reception team who gave us an efficient yet friendly check in. “Stayed at the Ivy Hill Hotel for a couple of nights visiting family for Christmas. An excellent hotel for a quiet break but within easy reach of London. Staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. Would definitely book again.”

We celebrated a 44th birthday and the food was amazing and good quality and well worth the price , we had 12 guests that came for lunch (2 were last minute confirmed) and a table was set up for them no problems at all.. our server Tash was absolutely incredible and the Manager Gemma such a lovely lady and so customer focused , The attention to detail from the cleaning staff was amazing (happy birthday banner and balloons ) Definitely going to be staying here again”

"My experience at this hotel was disappointing. I chose it for one specific reason: the pool and spa, so I could enjoy some time with my 3-year-old son. But when we went to the area, we were told that children are not allowed. This crucial restriction, which should be clearly stated at the time of booking, completely undermined the purpose of our stay. The rooms are basic and dated. The mattress was so soft it affected the quality of sleep, and the overall condition of the accommodation feels worn out. Breakfast was another letdown: they didn’t even have bread — something simple, inexpensive, and essential in any decent buffet. The only positive point is the staff. They were polite, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the rest. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel and I won’t be returning."
