“Es un hotel con una arquitectura muy antigua, cuando lo reserve me comentaron que tiene 4 estrellas y la verdad que carece de muchas comodidades para que sea de 4 estrellas. La atención del personal muy buena, todos son muy amables. Respecto a los desayunos no está mal pero como opinión personal debería de ser algo más variado (llevo 5 días desayunando huevos) En cuanto a la limpieza del hotel creo que deberían de limpiar a fondo alguna vez porque a simple vista se ve todo muy limpio pero...

“Lovely room with view. Manager Babs was very nice and cleaner found my lost hearing aid. Everything was lovely though there wasn’t a bedside light. But I had a torch so it was ok.”

“The hotel is old and dates but we didn’t pay a lot for the room. Room was clean and tidy but old decor. Was going yo use bar but no one in there including bar staff so didn’t bother and no info on breakfast times, has to ask. On the whole it’s ok for the mo au you pay”

“ We found the Victory Inn at Mersea to be very comfortable and the service was brilliant. Staff were especially helpful and the position was great for my 6 year old grandson as he spent lots of time in the play area and we could keep our eye on him. We will definitely be booking again for sometime in the summer for a longer stay.”

“Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna. Really good breakfasts served in bedrooms and at the nearby sister-hotel Milsoms. The fine dining at the main restaurant on the nearby River Stour was sublime,...
