“La habitación era fantástica y todo muy limpio. El hotel es muy acogedor con una decoración preciosa. El personal nos atendió muy bien.”

“The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

“This hotel was totally unexpected. The personal touches that they add are enchanting! Each room is unique and the thought behind them is incredible. They offer a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar in the evening. We were even able to have a free movie outside with popcorn! This is an amazing place! The lobby is like a public living room and there are seating areas with firepits in multiple locations. It is totally walkable to downtown Highlands . . which is so charming! Stay here!”

“el servicio encantador, el desayuno perfecto y la habitación muy bonita y acogedora”

“This is a beautiful property and so dog friendly! I loved it!”

“Clean room and great location to restaurants. We needed a room for one night and did not want to pay a huge price. Carolina Motel fit the bill.”

“Cobran una tarifa de daños de 25 dólares por persona cuando haces el check-in según lo reembolsan a la salida ”

“Beautiful lodge with a great history. Delicious breakfast was a nice surprise.”

“It was such a cute cabin, the area is very serene.”

“We a had a little hiccup with the door code not working but we reached out and got the code quickly. The only thing I would say we were a little surprise by the driveway at Idle Speed. It was tough to get up on a rainy day. The house is 3 stories and the bedrooms are all down stairs. I only mention it if you have trouble going up and down stairs.”

“We had never stayed in a yurt before and were pleasantly surprised about how nice and spacious everything is. The yurt itself is so fun and immaculate, it had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, just far enough off the beaten path but close to restaurants, beautiful Nantahala lake and the NOC. The creek beside the house was wonderful for fishing and just sitting and listening. We used the hot tub several times and it was clean and well maintained. Beds are very comfy as...

“Best “hippie” stay ever! Our hostess left no detail out….any little thing we could need, she had accommodated!Perfect spot to watch the stars at night, best weather to enjoy the firepit nightly, short steps to the soothing sounds of the river!Got the biggest kick out of showering “outside”! Bed slept very comfortably! Plenty of lighting inside and out as needed!Amazing couples’ experience!”

“Creekside, secluded, yet close to adventures and sights. We were very happy and comfortable here. So the driveway is steep, and care is needed, but our full size pickup had no problem. You will love the enclosed porch, with the cool stillness and soothing sound of the creek, when having coffee, or relaxing. Comfortable bed and furniture, clean and stocked for your stay.”
