“We arrived late to check in. Cabin was ready for us. It's a cute cabin and looked clean. When we woke up the next morning we noticed how many mouse dropping that we around the cabin. Everywhere. It was hard to enjoy the space after that. We packed up and left on Thanksgiving morning. We were due to checkout the next morning. ”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”

“Our stay here was fantastic! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and cleaning supplies. The bed was very clean and very comfortable. The property was beautiful! We loved the pool and wood-fired sauna and we were only a 10 minute drive from a beautiful swim spot at the Yuba River!! I also asked Rebecca, the host, many questions before and during the trip and she was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again! “Because of the size of our group, we booked the lodge along with the campground, yurt, and the homestead cabin. The set up was marvelous for our family of 43. The beds were comfortable, and spaces were well-equipped. The kitchen was our main selling point. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to prepare and serve food. “An absolutely perfect stay and very accommodating hosts. I stayed here for an avalanche class located at little Truckee Summit OHV park. The drive from the bunk house to class was easy and wonderful. There is a general store nearby with great breakfast and even steaks for dinner.
