“Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. “Could be a much better hotel if it was updated, a good clean up, including outside. Swimming pool advertised as open at 7am but wasn’t opening until 8am. Due to power failure no cooked breakfast, but that wouldn’t have been a problem personally if the continental breakfast was adequate, very basic & disappointing. I would not stay there again.”
