“The cottage is hidden away in the heart of Wooler village and is a great base for walks (I'd recommend the short walk to Wooler Common) and visits to local towns, beaches and attractions. It had ample parking and was comfortable for our family of 4. The cottage is well maintained and decorated beautifully and it felt like home for our stay. Communication with hosts was friendly, clear and efficient and check-in and out was easy.”

“What a fantastic Arts and Crafts house. It didn’t fail to impress huge space we weren’t falling over each other kitchen was fantastic with plenty space to cook all utensils glasses plates etc were excellent. Absolutely loved the huge dining table can only say fantastic ”

“Gorgeous place and location. Very high spec bathrooms and kitchen. Loads of space. We went for a wedding so didn't spend lots of time in the property but we were able to cook our dinner every day we were there without being on top of each other. Fabulous stay”

“Well presented, well designed property. Really bright and spacious. Very comfy beds. We loved the hot tub and the location. The only slight niggles - a couple of the dining room chairs were very wobbly and the front of the dishwasher kept coming detached. These were not big problems though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”

“The property was in a quiet cul de sac, it was clean and beautifully maintained. Central location and fully equipped.Three of us stayed there comfortably, even the steep stairs were not a problem. The outside space was lovely, great for breakfast or a coffee.Francesco was so helpful and welcoming, even when we turned up late because of flight delays. Anything we needed to know he gave a quick response. I would confidently recommend this lovely home and host and am looking forward to returning.”

“La maison est très grande,bien organisée.Chacun avait son propre domaine.Les chambres sont agréables.Le matelas au salon est cependant bien mou.Le barbecue a servi dans le joli patio.On est à 10mn à pied du centre de Kelso,jolie petie ville aux très nombreux commerces accueillants,bien située dans les Borders et entourée d'abbayes superbes ,surtout celle de Dreyburg ,et de beaux paysages.On envisage déjà de revenir.Merci Nikky.”

“This private and bijou rental is an absolute gem! In lovely rural setting, it is very cosy and enormous care has clearly been taken to think through every need a guest might have. Wherever you look there are thoughtful beautiful artistic touches. The host is friendly, informative and very responsive to any questions. The cottage is well situated to visit Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island (Lindisfarne). Within easy reach are shops and restaurants. The 'Taj Tandoori' provided the best Indian meal...

“Great location and very modern. I like a traditional feel more than the modern but it had everything one needed. However, there was less than 1 role of toilet paper between both bathrooms combined and no soap or shampoo, napkins, paper towels, dish brushes or clothes wash so come prepared. Also, the garbage outside was filled to overflowing before we arrived and we were unable to clean up our kitchen. Apparently, per the neighbor, this is an ongoing problem. The beds were a little uncomfortable....

“Me and my 5 friends had a lovely time away. There were stunning views and the house was large and comfortable. Fun board games and a lovely hot tub. We all agreed that the main thing that let it down for us was cleanliness. We had to hoover and clean when we got there - there was a lot of dog hair (we didn't bring a dog). One of the bathrooms was particularly dirty - black mold and black grime in the shower, plug full of hair so wouldn't drain properly. The grass in the garden hadn't been...
