Apartamentos en Edgewater

“Property was as described. But street parking said 2 hour limit. Owner said to ignore sign. But we didn't feel an out of state car parked there 3 days would go unknoticed so we parked on side street 0.5 miles away. Was easy to get to NYC on public transport 3 days in a row. Stairs were a little steep to 3rd floor for me in my late 70s.”

“Pros: Really nice apartment with an unbeatable location near the park and great restaurants. 3 minutes from the 1/2/3. Nice balcony and good wifi, with a little kitchen stocked with cookware essentials. Bathroom is recently renovated and nice. Aside from some linens (see below), the place was very clean. In the one conversation I was able to have with the property manager, he was polite and friendly.Cons: The apartment shown in the listing photos is not the apartment we rented. It was comparable...

“The place was very clean but felt quite bizarre starting with the door of the apartment which had many coats of black and white paint and papers ripped and sticking here and there. It really looked quite scary. What made the apartment feel bizarre was there was no real living room. It did NOT have a couch or table as in the photo on line. The previous living room and dining room had been turned into a bedroom which had two large (double or queen) beds and the bunk bed (as pictured) with a...

“A complete scam. The property is a homeless shelter. Do NOT book yourself here.”

“Great value! I would definitely stay again!”

“The location great. Very convenient to upper west side. That was the positive. The negatives- kitchen was not very clean. We ended up using plastic utensils as several forks and knives were dirty.- coffee maker didn’t work- debris on ground of kitchen- the apartment is dark! The pictures are not totally reflective- no AC in the main bedroom. Window AC in the main room- only 1 key!! Not sure how you can sleep 8 people and only have 1 key. That required a lot of juggling- host was somewhat...

“Do not book this apartment. We were not provided with check in information and were left scrambling (in the rain) trying to find another place to stay in New York, one day before the Football World Cup final, when accommodation was extremely scarce and very expensive. This host should be removed from VRBO.”

“The room was clean and in a great location. The apartment is only accessible via staircase. The hosts are responsive and helpful. Thanks!”

“I was there in the summer, and it was a little hot. The AC is good you just have to wait about a half hour to feel it working after you turn it on. Also the main lights are from the kitchen and the bathroom, but there is a floor lamp and two windows that help keep things lit. The bathroom was really nice and the water pressure was good. The bed is super comfy and the tv was the perfect size for watching fifa!”

“The leaking toilet had having to mop up each flush was a bit inconvenient but the rest of the stay was great.”

“Excelente ubicación, cocina completa y limpia, aire acondicionado en habitaciones principal, toma en cuenta que son 3 pisos y no hay elevador. Fue práctico y buena relación calidad precio.”

“Oyo is a good place to stay in the heart of Times Square if you don’t want to spend a fortune. It’s especially good for a single traveler just coming for Broadway shows. The rooms are very tiny (but good for one). The only complaint is the mattress-it feels like a sleeper sofa (a hideaway bed that is thin and noisy.) Otherwise it’s fine if all you need is a place to sleep and shower. I would stay here again.”

“Great spot, great space. Great communication. Would definitely book the place again.”

“Nosotros nos quedamos ahí porque teníamos eventos en la NU Headquarters, excelente ubicación! Caminamos solo unos pasos. El departamento muy limpio, como y seguro ”

“The room was clean and the location was excellent. We were not informed about the "short stay" fee of 92 until check-in. That should have either been included in our fee for the room, or we should have been told about it prior to checking in at the desk.”
