“This well appointed house was exceptionally clean, thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, a credit to the hosts. It was a pleasure to stay in. There was undercover garage parking available as an added bonus. The hosts were more than happy to answer any questions , including via phone.”

“The ocean was visible from the property but host said he'd sent a pin to our account which we didn't receive. Property surrounds eg garden were not well maintained.”

“Hurst Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. We were keen to be close to the North Hobart / Elizabeth St restaurant and entertainment strip. The house was really inviting, everything we needed in the kitchen, beds super comfortable, heating and cooling as needed. Plenty of parking out the front at all times. We were 100% happy with our stay.”

“We loved the welcoming wallabies who were a delight. The accommodation had great views and provided an escape from the city blur. Accomodation was new and geared to be disability friendly. ”

“Lovely old world accommodation in the heart of Hobart. Highly recommended for couples looking for a nice place to stay. Great Kitchen area. Secure entrances. Clean and tidy rooms with a lot of charm and comfortable beds.”

“A beautiful cottage in easy walking distance of Battery Point and Salamanca Market. It was quiet at night but also only a short walk to a supermarket. We’d love to stay longer next time. We loved the open plan kitchen living area with all the amenities you could ever need.”

“Comfortable and spacious house with great beds and plenty of room for our group of seven. The electric frying pan was very handy. The place covers the basics, but a few extra supplies (paper towel, rubbish bags, cleaning items) and larger cookware would make it more practical for bigger groups. It would also be helpful to note in the listing that there’s no BBQ. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay”

“Could not fault this property and owner. Perfect in every way. Thank you.”
