Ryokans en Fukuoka

“Super accueillant et avenant.”

“Top notch ryokan experience. The ladies were all so welcoming, helpful, kind, polite, and hospitable. It is an intimate 8 room ryokan, all facing the Karatsu Bay (Sea of Japan). The service is personal because of the small size. You can walk out onto a sandy beach. The two large suites also face Karatsu Castle. We arrived at 4pm and had not ordered dinner. “This is something of an interesting and different setup in that this ryokan is contained within a larger hotel, the Art Hotel Kokura New Tagawa, which is where you check in. It's something of a best of both worlds, as you have the comfort and style of a traditional inn, supported by all the amenities and staff of a modern-style hotel. I opted to include the Kaiseki Tasting menu for dinner, and it's something that was absolutely amazing - definitely include this option! Breakfast was amazing as...
