“Perfect location near downtown Placerville and not far from the start of the Apple Hill region. Everything was outstanding! Owners were very nice and Sandra, the Owner’s sister checked on us to ensure our stay was going well. It’s a nice, quiet, quaint cottage and met our needs very well. We enjoyed the private deck next to the fountain and pond with some wine one evening. Highly recommend! ”

“We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay.”

“We stayed here for the weekend. The home is beautifully kept with everything you need clearly marked and easy to find. Very clean with all of the amenities you will need. My one and only complaint would be the steep slope of the driveway which made parking challenging. Everything else was perfect.”

“Beautiful location, surrounded by trees, and private. Canal was a bonus. Nice rooms with thick carpet. Comfortable beds. Right off the freeway, but good insulation blocks sound when inside. We loved the flickering "fairy" lights on the trees at night!Owners friendly and helpful. Caution for mobility-challenged: ascending slope to house is steep, and stairs on the lower section don't have handrails.Overall, a great option in the area and would rent again!”

“First off, it was over 800 with all the added little feed. We went there to be by the lake. Brought my daughter and her new dog. I texted them before I got there, asking about the lake. No response. When I got there I see why they ignored my text. They're draining the lake for the summer. There was no beach. Just all rock and it wasn't safe to jump in where we were because the water was so low. If you have a boat, this place is good for you.I liked the pool area. But there's caution tape...
