Annual family vacation

26 family members ranging from 1 to 73 years old. A great time was had by all. The property is top class and ideal for a large family.

The home was beautiful! Hindsight we probably didn’t need to bring anything but our own personal items. The home had beach gear, house games, including children items, stocked kitchen items and more. We were very impressed.

Best House on Topsail Island

This house is as beautiful as the pictures show. Very well stocked kitchen. Very clean. Beautiful beach. We have been coming to Topsail since 1979. With our growing family we continue to need a bigger and bigger house. This house exceeded our expectations.

very nice rental

love the size of this home. great views and easy access to the beach. comfy beds, fun theater room. floors were dirty. not 1 tupperware to be found.

Big Blue - large home for a good time

This home really accommodates all needs plus provides space for separation. Amenities are perfect and you cannot beat the location - very close to restaurants, bars, and the only grocery on the island.

Great Birthday and Family Reunion

We had 14 adults and 4 kids stay at this house. We loved the house set up and the pool table and movie theater were great for all. The location was within walking distance of many restaurants and the view was just incredible. Guests are already talking about rebooking Big Blue in the future. A sentimental stuffed animal was left behind, but the cleaning company found it and it is being mailed to us. We had an excellent time. I highly recommended Big Blue.

Thanksgiving 2023

Amazing week - weather was great. Location is amazing - everything you need is walking distance. Dining, bars, grocery, the pier, coffee, book shops… Awesome house. The theatre room got lots of use by our group. It was too cold for the pools, but the hot tub was nice. I loved the layout - 10 bedrooms - all with their own bathroom! Right on the beach. Alena the property manager was very helpful and helped us arrange for a mid week cleaning as friends left and family arrived for turkey day.

Big Blue is in the perfect location (beach, parking, shopping, dining). The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep for large groups a breeze. Big plus for our group is bathroom in every bedroom. Landmark is very customer oriented and stands ready to try and take care of any property issues. Thank you Big Blue property owner and Landmark for offering such a great vacation rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at our first stay at Surf City. The location , beach wise, is hard to beat! There is a very loud live music place ( Scallywags) that faces the garage side bedrooms that plays music till 11, which made it hard for little children in our party to sleep. The elevator was not functioning but rental group addressed that with us appropriately. Its a great house full of amenities that we all enjoyed and a perfect place for large families . Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need . Pricing is very fair compared to other beaches we have been to . Wd had a great time .Note: Be very careful with all railing areas with small children , some of them are loose and house definitely needs some repair with those areas .

If you like to be close to restaurants, grocery stores and all the excitement you’ll love it here. The house is perfect for our family although the family room area is quite small for the number of people. But we don’t spend much time inside so it’s sure not a deal breaker. The beds were super comfortable and there were lots of pillows! It’s nice to have the linens and towels all there for us as our family traveled from all over the country to gather. There’s a neat bar right across the street if you like the nightlife. However they do have live music until 11 or so on the weekends which may keep you from sleeping. Landmark responded quickly to all our requests. I would highly recommend this place for your large family gatherings!

Fun Family Beach Vacation

There was plenty of space for gathering and cooking meals. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The theater room worked out great, not only for watching movies but also for yoga and work outs. We loved the proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants. This was our first visit to Top Sail Island, and it worked out great for everyone traveling in from different locations (California, Colorado, and Virginia).

So many memories were made during our time at Big Blue. Our family has been taking an annual beach trip every year for at least 18 years. As our family grows, our beach house gets bigger! Big Blue was the best house so far....loved the extra features of the two pools, the pool table, and the amazing theater. We had more than enough room to accommodate everyone. The kitchen and family room was where we all got together for meals and family time. I honestly got lost in the house several many bedrooms and hallways! Was wonderful for all the grandchildren (11 that are all 6 and under...with a 12th on the way!) to "do life" together with all the cousins, aunts, uncles, Grandpa, and JoJo. We don't have one negative thing to share here. We will reserve this home as often as we can for our annual family beach vacation. Landmark Realty was terrific to work with before and during our Topsail Beach stay. *Thanks for the memories*
