Pup Perfect

A bit of a rocky start at check-in as we arrived after dark and could not see the keypad on the door. There was a lock box keypad on the side of the door, which is where we thought we needed to enter the code. Motion lights would’ve been helpful. Even though it was after hours, someone responded right away. Everything else at the house was perfect. We cooked a few times at the house and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with everything you need. The bed was a little soft for our liking and we wish we would’ve brought our own pillows but that’s all personal preference. Having a fenced yard to be able to open the door and let the pup out without worry was the number one asset to this property for us. Lots to do locally. Best restaurants for our taste were Rick‘s Restaurant (Topsail) and Cowfin. Peak Taphouse was a great place to stop in for a beer and a pizza. Would definitely rent this property again.

Thanksgiving Trip With Pups

Husband and I booked the cottage with our dogs to visit family for Thanksgiving week. The fenced in yard and beautiful views made for a relaxing time for all. Cottage is clean, comfortable and very cozy. We will book again on any future trips to the area.

Great stay

We had a great stay! This place had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the dock. There were some lightbulbs out in the bathroom and kitchen but was not a big deal. We loved the view and the quiet. We will be back!

Best getaway

The house is prefect for 2. We took our 2 dogs. It's safe and secure for them. We fished from the dock and kayaks that are provided. Anything that was previously suggested by visitors was already updated or addressed. If I had a question, they responded quickly. We will definitely be back.

Perfect getaway

Location, clean,the view was marvelous, bush by deck could use a trim. The fenced in yard was a real plus. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would highly recommend staying here. Watching the bay was so relaxing. We even got to see a dolphin .

Just Perfect

This place was just perfect for me and my husband, and little fur baby. Our yorkie loved the fenced in yard. We had a blast fishing off the dock, and the beach was just a shirt ride 2e can't waiy to come vack!over the bridge.

A great spot, dog friendly and close to everything!

Cut short by the hurricane but was great overall! Location right on the water, our dog loved the fenced yard. We were close to everything we needed. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away.

The pictures don’t do this little hideaway justice! It was beyond perfect for me and my pup! It’s right on the water and close to the beaches! The house had everything you’d need and more! I will most definitely book again!

We have fallen in love with this place! Best view and location. The house is so cute and perfect for 2 people and our dog! I don’t think my dog wants to go home either. We loved this house so much! We walked to breakfast at Sears Landing, a short drive to the beach and the dock/pier was so peaceful. This older property is truly a treasure! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!!

Just normal feedback

Property was great for us. Had to find work arounds for TV, heat etc during our rain out/cold day on day 2 of 3. Just a suggestion but maybe directions for others that do not understand work arounds with electronics. Also, sponges and dish towels would have been great. Minimal input here, location and view was absurdly great. Grew up on the south end as vacationing child and my wife's birthday surprise weekend was just that. Thanks again ya'll.

Nice place

Loved the cottage, backyard and dock! The dogs enjoyed the entire location. The only negatives (and only meant for constructive improvements) were the entry door. Pls secure the bottom of the blinds as door swings open. No life jackets for the kayaks and paddleboards. A railing on the dock facing the water would have been helpful for fishing. Otherwise, perfect for a getaway for a couple.

Home away from home on the water

My wife and I loved the house, view, and convenient location of this property. The fenced in yard gave us peace of mind to let our dogs play without worry. The property managers gave awesome recommendations for the local restaurants and entertainment. Would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful cottage for a couple

We loved our stay here! It's small but perfect for a couple. We spent a lot of time on the covered dock enjoying the views and the fishing. The fenced in yard is also an amazing feature for the dogs, it's so nice to just open the door and let them out! The house is stocked better than most other rentals we've been to, they even supply coffee! We will definatly keep this rental on our radar for future getaways.

Perfect anniversary getaway for two!

We enjoyed a nice weekend getaway. The perfect little home for two. JM's on the water and Sears Landing made for the perfect date night spots just minutes away from the house. Enjoyed watching the sunrise in the mornings and beautiful sunsets at night. A truly enjoyable place to stay.

Cozy & well kept escape

Everything was so well thought even down to a nightlight in the bathroom and poop bags stored for use outside- more like a cozy b&b, the guest comfort was clearly key. Nice bedding, soaps & shampoo and even coffee all available to make the stay easy. Very clean and nicely designed plus the fenced yard was amazing- felt my dig was totally safe. The deck is so nice too for watching boats and birds- super comfortable.
