“We had a wonderful time at this beautiful historic hotel. The staff are the greatest asset, and provide genuine, heartfelt excellent service in everything they do. The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional. Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The only issue was the water temp in the shower. It was unstable, running scorching hot then freezing basically the whole time the shower was on. Honestly though, not a huge issue considering all the positives with our stay.”
