“Beautiful view of the vineyard and an open field from Cottage 2 on our staycation. The fireplace was perfect for a romantic evening cuddled up on the couch (playing Mario cart 😄) By day we explored the local area neither of us drink wine but the area is stunning. “We had a wonderful time at this beautiful historic hotel. The staff are the greatest asset, and provide genuine, heartfelt excellent service in everything they do. The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional. Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Some amenities available in the room, like coffee, tea, and milk. No continental breakfast option was available. It's not close enough to shops, and you'd need a car to buy some small bites. In general, good option for accommodation.”
