“We loved the beautiful home. It was decorated with lovely antiques. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and we were happy to use it. Agnes met us and allowed us to check in a few hours early because our flight was before the normal check in time. She gave us advice that was very helpful. We were surprised at the perfect location a short walk from the royal mile, near restaurant options. We didn't need a car for the first two days, but rented one for the third day...

“This was a very comfortable place for us to stay with family members, with lots of interesting places to explore within walking distance. Also a very nice place to hang around and be inside together in the rainy weather!”

“Beautiful and spacious home with lots of room for our family to spread out. The back garden is lovely. We had so much fun making pizzas in the pizza oven. Perfect location. Paul, the owner, was such a delight! ”

“A beautiful townhouse in a wonderful location! Clean with all the necessities. Everyone in our family, ages 84 - 16, enjoyed their time at the townhouse while exploring Edinburgh and taking day trips. ”

“Great communication with the owner. Enogh parking for two cars. House exceeded our expectations, everything spotless, much bigger than looks on the pictures. Great having extras like dishwasher tablets, tinfoil ect. The garden was great, we enjoyed the summerhouse too. Then just through the gate onto the beach. Just perfect. We definitely hope to return.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gillespie house; the location was excellent, and the bed and living area were very comfortable. We walked almost everywhere around Edinburgh from the Gillespie house, making it so convenient. It was about 30 minutes to the center of town, but many great shops and restaurants were even closer. We would definitely stay again. :)”
