Oahu is very expensive so being able to have many breakfasts and dinners at home, with lunches out during our travels really helped keep meals costs down. “This resort is beautiful! We loved being away from the busy Waikiki area. We did end up traveling about 45 min to a hour most days to go see various parts of the island. Traffic can be challenging, but that’s expected with any large city. For us, it was worth the drive time to stay in a more peaceful, relaxing and less crowded location. The lagoons are perfect for families with younger kids with no waves. We loved the pool area and our two youngest always looked forward to Koi feeding time....
