“We had a wonderful time on Whidbey Island, and this home was the icing on the cake! Don't miss the sunsets, and if you are lucky (like we were), there will be Kite Surfers/Sailors in the small lake across from the ocean. We watched them for hours, and they were very impressive. The house was very nice and clean! We loved staying together and having coffee/tea and snacks. It's a great location and a great home! You will not be disappointed! ”

“The house was clean, well-equipped, and spacious with gorgeous ocean views (especially from the top floor which has a gorgeous sitting room) and easy access to the beach. We would definitely stay again!”

“Great place. Will be even better when carpet and furniture are updated. Might be better for a long stay than a single overnight. Having to strip bed and start laundry is maybe for a longer stay. ”

“The view from this cliffside house is stunning!Our dogs (and we) especially appreciated the fully fenced yard so they could run and play safely, and the outdoor fire pit and ample firewood was an unexpected bonus.Dave is a great host and is very responsive and communicative. We would certainly return.”

“This is a great place for a lot of bed space near the Skagit River Park sports complex. It doesn't have a ton of individual personality but many people may prefer that. We would have liked laundry and a few more blankets but other than that - a great stay. Nice bathrooms, very clean.”

“We enjoyed it, but some constructive criticism. * The door keypad code should be shortened. A 10-digit code is ridiculous. I believe 4 or 5 is adequate and would eliminate much frustration. *We rented after reading an April review noting the primary shower was terrible. The plumbing fixtures are old and not functional. The owner replied that the problem would be fixed. Well, it was not, and my we had to endure a trickle shower. I used the guest bath, but my wife likes the privacy of her bath....

“The house is in a great location. The house is a little dated- appliances and decor. The house is listed at a premium rate due to the location but lacks other amenities such as updated appliances, bedding and WiFi. Watching the wildlife was the large living rooms windows was a great way to start and end the day. The largest bedroom that states it sleeps 5 has no heating source available and is very cold at night. ”

“We were beyond happy with our stay! This is not a new property, by any means, but it is well taken care of and has the most welcoming, comforting vibe! One appreciates the updates, while maintaining the original home. We stayed for a week, taking advantage of the unlimited outdoor activities of the area. But it was always our pleasure to return to our window on the bay for rest! The neighborhood was so quiet allowing us to enjoy the sounds of the birds. We would be more than happy to book...

Hot tub was nice clean and new, it feels like the ocean water is going to come into the house you’re so close. The house is newly remodeled and absolutely gorgeous.
