“We had a truly wonderful week in Jonesport. We cooked a lot of meals and the kitchen is great for that, top notch equipment, as nice as our home kitchen plus some spices and sugar and so forth for convenience. The views are spectacular from anywhere in the house and we loved the shack that's on the rocks over the water. Great for hanging out and reading or having a morning cup of coffee.The neighborhood is quiet and restful, but plenty to do. We went kayaking twice and hiking twice.I highly...

“Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

“We enjoyed our stay. The view is great and so is the location. Milbridge is a great little town, and makes for a great base for short day trips to surrounding communities, including MDI. The cabin itself is fairly rustic, but has most of the necessary creature comforts one expects. Water pressure was a bit low and the bed was not very comfortable, but that is partly a matter of preference. ”
