“We had a fantastic stay at the Bear’s Den for Labor Day week/end 2025. The owners have done a wonderful job of making this a fantastic up north getaway in the woods. It was so peaceful and relaxing while also having all you need in terms of modern amenities. There were 7 of us plus a dog and we were all cozy and comfortable. “We stayed here for 1 night on our UP road trip but wished we would have stayed more! The cabin was super cute and clean and had plenty of space for our family of 5! The kids loved the kayaks and playing in the water. We enjoyed the fire pit that night. The convenience store on the island was great and has a lot of what we needed. We would definitely love to come back and stay longer next time.”

“A lovely base camp for our eastern / central UP adventures. The smoke from Canada made for some lovely sunsets. We saw crows, hawks, and eagle, and watched a family of otters swim by.
