The condo was great! They had beach chairs for us to use while there. There was a number of pots, pans, utensils for cooking, and a handful of Tupperware and glass containers for leftovers. Leaving the front door open with the screen closed and the back sliding door open allowed for a nice breeze to come through. The downstairs portable fan was broken, but the ceiling fan seemed to be okay for the one sleeping on the sleeper sofa. The A/C unit in the front bedroom was perfect for me!! (:

Beautiful view, super comfy beds. I am glad we stayed in the winter because the only air conditioning unit is in the downstairs bedroom and the rest of the condo and upstairs bedroom loft got very hot during the day. Also, the dryer does not vent to outside so that added to increased temperature and humidity in the condo. Overall though we had a great stay!

This was an amazing location with everything we needed. Candace was great when we had any questions, she answered promptly and was helpful. If you’re looking for a more laid back location for your stay this is it. You get the beach, views, hottub & pool but not the busy-ness of a hotel or resort. It’s a quiet area & sunrises were the best here. Highly recommend. :)

The unit was attractive, clean, well stocked with necessary supplies, pots, pans, shampoo etc. . Small appliances were almost new ( toaster, coffee maker etc). And the host communication and response was absolutely excellent. The pool and property was well maintained with landscaper & pool service every day. Furniture was comfortable and in great shape. The pool was delightful!!Downsides .. were few but important to note for us There are no elevators for upper floors ( we were on 3rd floor). And there is no a/c . This unit (rm 324) had a freestanding room a/c machine that kept the back bedroom cool enough to sleep. We had a very warm humid week and that portable type a/c ran almost continuously the entire week. The rest of the unit got very hot by late afternoon even with doors and lanai windows open. One of the shades for the big living room windows was not functional so the afternoon sun made it hotter inside …. And this is an older building so some signs of facility aging were present (damaged siding, some rust etc). All in all we would stay again, but at our age (74 & 71,) the stairs and a/c issue might have us looking elsewhere next time. But for the price, the location, the cleanliness and the pool and the excellent host response it’s a bargain!

If this place is available, book it. Was perfect for my girlfriend and I and my 3 adult children 18-24. We stayed in master, the girls stayed in the loft with own bathroom, and my son slept on pull out bed. Was a bit stuffy when we first arrived, but was perfectly comfortable once we opened it up. So nice to hear the waves at night, we all slept great. Everything was exactly as pictured and Lanai was amazing, with great view of sunrises. Tommy Bahama beach chairs were greatly appreciated. Kapaa is quaint, close to airport and beaches, and has good restaurants and coffee shops. Host is very responsive.

Great room with an even better view! We loved having sunrise coffee on the balcony and on the grassy area between the pool and ocean. The central location made it easy to explore both North and South shores. It’s close to grocery stores and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and silverware, but had very limited spices—bring your own. The A/C in the front room helped at night, and the loft stayed comfortable with a great breeze in late July. You’ll need to keep the front door open to cool the unit, but the screen door doesn’t lock. The pool was a nice bonus—busy at sunset but refreshing on hot days. The facility is older, and while the third-floor location offers great views and airflow, carrying luggage or groceries up the stairs is a bit of a workout. Overall, a great stay and excellent value!

Front screen door would not close, washing machine very temperamental, wouldn’t spin clothes. Could have been cleaner.Beds comfortable, great lanai, kitchen well stocked with pots pans dishes etc. Be ready to cling 35 stairs every time you go in or out

Location and views

Great location walking distance from shops, restaurants, and beaches. Amazing sunrise views from the grassy area by the pool. We even saw whales from the balcony one morning! Thanks for a lovely stay.
