“This is a terrific ground level studio unit next to the parking. It is well maintained. The host was very responsive when we had a small issue with the shower head and he replaced it with an amazing unit you will enjoy. Hanalei Bay Resort (HBR) has been a special vacation place for us for nearly 40 years. While the Bali Hai restaurant is not up and running again, they do serve pizza which was pretty good. For some reason the jets in the HBR hot tub were not operating.”

“Stunning experience. You are on the property of Hanalei Bay Resort but you do not have bed made, towels changed, etc. something to think about for longer stays. But absolutely breathtaking view and very nice and clean. 5/5!!! ”

“This was a great space to have while on Kauai. Close to so much, right across the street from the athletic club, whose pool was clutch with our 4 year old! We loved being on the ground floor to just walk right out on the grass. The AC was helpful just to shut out the noise of the roosters at 3am but other than that, it wasn’t needed it was nice and cool with fresh air flowing through. Jill was a wonderful host and we would certainly rent from her again! Mahalo Jill!”

“Gorgeous views — more impressive than the photos. Excellent location. Can walk 5-8 minutes down the hill to a very quiet and dreamy beach. The room itself, as others have noted, could use some upgrades. Lots of scuffs along walls and baseboards, lumpy pillows, wobbly end tables, mid-range amenities (towels, soaps, etc.). Also, this is a connecting room, which means you really can hear everything from the neighbors if they are speaking above a whisper. We were lucky with most neighbors, but for a...
