“Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. “Have stayed at here a few times. Good location and if you want to use public transport, there's a bus stop right outside. You don't need to venture very far for a good meal (downstairs!) and breakfast served is made to order. This is our go to place to stay for convenience for access to beach, buses to Swanage and nice walks!”

“The breakfast, staff and downstairs communal areas were very good. However, bearing in mind the price for overnight stays we found the room and room facilities were far below average for this class/cost of hotel. The room had a harbour view which was excellent but this said the actual room and facilities felt very 'tired', in need of an update and lacking certain facilities that other hotels in this price range would normally have. “As a solo traveller, I go to Bournemouth a lot and stay overnight. I was disappointed in my room. It was in a corner on the 3rd floor. The carpet looked dirty and hadn't been hoovered. The bathroom was tiny, and so was the sink so I just about managed to brush my teeth. The tiles were cracked and the towel rack was broken. I wouldn't stay again. The reviews looked good but clearly I had the worst room.”
