  • Aloha & welcome to our home - Hale Kika @ Poipu Kai resort. Hale Kika is an open concept beach house with great views from the main living area, 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Views from the house span from the Haupu Mountain to full ocean views. Our 2-storey home offers a relaxed, quiet environment, with expansive covered Ipe lanais on both levels, perfect for enjoying your favorite book or a meal with family and friends. On the ground floor are 2 guest bedrooms, a bathroom and large laundry room with washer and dryer. One guest bedroom offers a queen-bed and a private Ipe deck & lanai with ocean views. The second guest bedroom offers 2 twin-beds which can be reconfigured as a king-bed.

    Located on the 2nd floor is the master suite, and an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom is roomy, with a king-bed, an ensuite bathroom complete with double-sinks, a large dual-head walk-in shower and walk-in closet space for an extended stay. There are glorious views from the master as well.

    The kitchen is updated with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove-top and oven (rare on Kauai), and beautiful Koa cabinetry. Our home is very well maintained and appointed with all the comforts of home as well as the amenities you need for your adventure exploring, snorkeling or swimming while on the island of Kauai. A great breeze circulates throughout to keep it cool and cozy during your stay.

    Hale Kika is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, and plenty of open spaces to absorb the sun and view the Pacific. The Poipu Kai resort has carefully manicured grounds, well-lit walking paths, 8 tennis courts, and a recently remodeled resort pool and spa. Poipu Bay Golf (0.5 mile) and Kiahuna Golf (1.5 mile) courses are nearby. Hale Kika is within minutes from Shipwrecks Beach, one of our favorite surf spots; and the start of the famous Mahaulepu Heritage hiking trail; less than a 1/2 mile from Brenneckes Beach, Baby Beach; or from the Poipu Kai resort tennis courts and resort pool and spa.

Beautiful view of the ocean, great location near the Grant Hyatt, Shipwreck beach, and nearby coastal hiking trails. Check in was easy, house was well stocked with kitchen and beach supplies. Host was very responsive. My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay.

House was perfect for me, my wife, and 4 kids (high school and college). Great location and easy walk to beautiful beach. Poipu beach and surroundings provide all you need for beach, surfing, shopping etc and a little less commercial than other spots. Kitchen and fridge provided everything we needed to cook when desired and the beach chairs and coolers were nice to have for day trips. Highly recommended.

Great location and neighborhood, close to the Grand Hyatt, and easy walking distance to Shipwreck and Brennecke's Beaches. The house has a large deck with a partial ocean view, which we really enjoyed. The host was easy to reach and very helpful. We would consider staying again.

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful home! The house was stocked with everything you would need for the beach, and our boys loved the basketball hoop out front! There were some kitchen staples which was wonderful! It can be a pain to have to purchase random seasonings and spices to cook just a few meals on your vacation. Raff was always available to answer any questions I had, and we have actually already booked the house for next Christmas!

Raff was a great host. We had a long travel day with an early arrival to the island. We asked for an early check in and Raff worked hard to make this happen. He stayed in constant contact, providing updates throughout the day. Great family get away.

Gorgeous home! Main floor’s open concept was perfect for our family. The kitchen was fully stocked and overlooked the dining and livingroom…all with a beautiful view of the manicured grounds and ocean.The primary bedroom is on the main floor and was super spacious!The two bedrooms and full bath downstairs were the perfect space for our teenage kids…giving them (and us) their own space to hang out. The location was perfect…walking trails right in front of the house lead to beautiful beaches and stunning cliffs. Every morning we walked to the beach to watch the sun rise and the whales breach. Raff was very responsive. Any time I had a question, he responded within minutes.
