“I have been searching for the perfect cabin near Denver to “run away” to after a busy summer. I finally found it! Brookside will be my annual escape. You have provided for my every knee, including extra special touches. I was especially delighted to find the house slippers and chocolate cookies. My favorite thing is the hammock right beside the river – a dream come true! See you next year. You are very gracious hosts.”

“Great property. I would stay there again. Only one suggestion for visitors: download the travel and accommodation details before you arrive because there is no cell coverage within 15 miles of the property. When I arrived, quite late, I had to blow up the picture of my cabin so I wouldn’t enter someone else’s by mistake. Be comforted, though. They have great wi-fi once you are checked in and have the log-in credentials.”

“Overall the cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Clean; stocked with cooking ware. We use ATT cellular, which was NOT available in the area, but bypassed it with Wi-Fi, which worked well. It’s close to the road, but there’s not much traffic so it was pretty quiet. The river seating area is beautiful but it is close behind the other cabins, so if you prefer more privacy it’s a little awkward. We didn’t meet the owners, but they are right there on the property and seemed like very wonderful...

“Great place to stay and relax in the mountains! No cell service made it more relaxing! Great vintage cabin, slept with the windows open in the fresh mountain air! Slept like a baby! Pack food & ice, snacks to relax and cook at cabin or on grill. Loved the style and area!”

“La habitación y en general las instalaciones muy comodas.”

“Property was in a great location… could walk to hiking, park, creek in backyard. We loved the town events: pizza and music in the park, brunch at the Merc, Apartment was new and tastefully done, well-equipped. Perfect mountain experience. Hosts could not have been nicer. We’ll be back.”
