“The property was amazing. Things I didn’t like, it was a basement unit, and always cool. No way to control the temperature ( that I could find) in the unit. The only parking is on the street. I had to plan ahead what to bring in. The neighbors in the back, had an Apple tree. There were yucky, dead apples all along the path to the back and the stairs. I was visiting my grandson in the UW district. Was very convenient for that ”

“My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here during UW move in week. The apartment is very nicely tucked away at the end of a dead end street so it feels very safe and private. The beautiful Ravenna park is very close walking distance to enjoy some nature in the city. Perfect walking distance to U village. Eric was very kind to let us park our car (filled with dorm stuff) in the driveway for a few days before move in just to be extra safe. Comfy bed, highly recommend!”

She provided restaurant recommendations and experienced suggestions for the area.What separates it from a hotel is the personal touches and helpfulness of the host and the place was very spacious in a quiet neighborhood. Great location if you want to visit downtown Seattle w/o driving into the city. There is a light rail 5 minutes walk away that you catch to go to the city or to the airport. Highly recommended!”

“A nice suite with condiments in the kitchen. Makes me feel like coming home after a day out. Good coffee supplied and a nice sharp cutting knife ready to make dinner. Other little things around that make it feel like a home. In winter take warm cushy socks as the door opens to the living room and makes it cool on the floor. Not able to control heat, but it was at a temperature I liked -maybe not for others? I will look for this place again when needed”

I don’t spend that much time in the VRBO, but when I was there it was beautiful, comfortable, and provided a perfect hub to take several walks around green lake right next door. I love the setup with the second floor bedroom and bathroom and third floor extra bed. Very cute overall, I would absolutely stay here again, and it is very reasonably priced compared to similar but less interesting properties!”

The stairs down the side of the house though are not friendly for those with mobility issues and there were safety concerns walking down this rugged path at night - having automatic lights installed would be key for safety.
