“Loved the campfire at night, the privacy, but ease of location. It was so close to the lake and close to the small town. Kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals there. We felt like the owners had us in mind when they prepared things. The garage space was a great bonus for staging tubes for the river or for the kids to hang out. Pictures don't entirely capture how much space is in the house. Would definitely stay again!”

“The wife and I loved the chalet. Especially enjoyed the arcade game. Played some Donkey Kong, haven't played that since the '80s. Also loved the color of the kitchen cabinets. Took pics of the cabinets and of the paint can, so we can do ours the same color. Thanks!”

“We loved the trails on the property, access to the fire pit and having a full bathroom. There was clear communication throughout our stay despite there being no one on site. Check out was simply taking out the trash which was appreciated. A few things that would make this even better would be touches like dish towels, tea bags, a bigger sink, longer hot water times for showering and a more comfortable bed.All around we had a wonderful time! ”

“We had two families together with little kids (6-8), and we all had a total blast. The house is absolutely amazing, stunningly designed, and it feels like a high-end retreat with all the coziness of a cabin/ski chalet as well. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room and the game room. And the hot tub was awesome, clean, and hot on a freezing winter weekend. We look forward to returning for another ski weekend! We took the kids to Boyne Highlands and then the next day...

“Everything about this property exceeded any expectation I had. The view- the land/rockscaping that takes you down to the river is just beautiful. The river is so close to the house the views are stunning every direction you look. There is a “patio” area that is literally on the river with comfortable furniture and is covered and dry even when it rained. The house is immaculate, clean and so comfortable. The decorating is just so cool and inviting it is hard to describe. The beds and bedding are...

“Spacious and clean. Had all we needed for a family ski vacation. We had unfortunate issues with no hot water, but the host was responsive and had repairmen come twice to help….”

“Very close to Brule. Loved the hottub after a day of skiing and also the fireplace! Only complaint would be the flooring in bathroom is coming up and should be fixed.”

“At this time of year (end of May),this area was beautiful, and at night was extremely quiet and dark. the cabin is cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Will definitely consider it again for next year!”
