“Our family of 12 stayed here in May . We loved sitting on the screened porch by the fire for coffee and conversations in the mornings. During the days, we ventured on hikes to Black Balsam, Rainbow Falls, Lake Toxaway River Trail, and Meadow Ridge. We played tennis at the clubhouse and the tennis pros were so helpful and friendly. “I thought it was a better place”

“Wonderful place, perfect house. As soon as you walk in you’re blown away with the amazing views of Lake Santeetlah. Wonderful location for beautiful drives through the mountains and more hiking nearby than you could possibly fit into one week. I recommend a trip to see the three nearby dams (Santeetlah, Cheoha, and Fontana). The house was very clean, very comfortable beds, everything you need and much more. Kitchen was very well appointed. “They had obvious damage from Helene but nothing that would hinder your stay. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Would definitely go back!”

“The inside of the cabin is beautiful! Some of the pictures makes you believe you have access to the lake. You do not! It is owned by a camp ground and they have no choice words to make sure you know it and stay away. Keys are in a lock box but my communication said they would be under a mat. Never was communicated the code to the lock box until the owners mother happen to drive by. She seemed more surprised than I did that I hadn't been told. They claim the wifi operates without a password but...
