“Our family of nine had an amazing time at Bear Ridge Lodge. Randy and Becky were welcoming and accommodating in every way. Our kids and grandkids loved walking the goats wirh Randy as well as being with the ducks and chickens. They also enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak. The king size beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also had an unlimited supply of firewood for the wonderful fireplace which was especially appreciated by Nana.”

“Pros-The property was beautiful and the house was spacious and clean. The hot tub was a big hit and everyone enjoyed wading in the river. The kitchen had everything we needed for the multiple meals we prepared. The beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful and peaceful. We also enjoyed the fire pit one night. Be sure to grab some firewood from Ingles or somewhere though as none is provided.Cons- the house is quite old and feels a bit fragile. The owner seems to have had bad experiences...

“Location was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. We were not aware that the only access to the second story bedroom was a spiral staircase which was difficult for us to take up and bring down our luggage. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside areas however the chairs on the upper deck were not comfortable without some kind of cushion or pillow. ”

“This home is situated on a beautiful, remote property. The views are outstanding. The layout is great and accommodated our large family group very well. It was not the cleanest property we have stayed at, and the wifi is not very reliable, so keep that in mind if you are planning to work or need internet. We had no issues with the neighbors. We loved seeing the farm animals across the street daily. ”

“House was a wonderful place to relax for the week. Bed was comfortable. Loved the views of the mountains. Deer met us at the fence line one morning. Neighborhood was quiet and very peaceful. We loved the two wood burning fireplaces. Owners were very responsive to our questions. Would love to return!!”
