“Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great.”

“The setting is lovely with plenty of parking. Not overly helpful reception on check in, giving minimal information. The building is generally dark and felt cold. “Staff were very helpful, the property was comfortable and there’s lots of comfortable communal areas to lounge in with a good book. It’s great for a cozy weekend away.”

The kitchen is functional but missing some supplies like a cutting board and only one sharp knife and one water glass. The bed is very comfortable and the whole place is nicely decorated. We did notice that the dryer doesn’t work well and there was no laundry soap...

“Every thing met our expectations and the host went the extra mile with many small touches. ”

“Nice little touches with games and condiments. Everything we needed to cook and store food. Watch tv. Great heating. Comfy beds and lounge.”
