“Perfect beautiful place for my husband and I with our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Maggie. Wi-Fi was on and off, required resetting a couple of times. But, we loved the peace and quiet. Was perfect for exploring trails in the area. Moss Lake Trailhead was our favorite. Perfect between Old Forge and Inlet. It was across the road and a little walk from Big Moose Lake and the pic of the gazebo. and the gazebo and docks need some repair. Construction occurring and we just kept away from the area....

Built more than 100 years ago, you see hand-hewn beams supporting the second floor, floors made up of varying-width boards, rooms large enough for their intended purpose without empty space. We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now. That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need. “This is a BEAUTIFUL property. Right on the Hudson River, hot tub, deck, fire pit -- all great!.Also, when we got there the place was immaculate! SUPER SUPER clean.Everything in the kitchen is laid out perfectly, and has all that you need to cook, etc..The host was a great guy -- we got to talk to him a bit the day we left -- he lives right across the street.I highly recommend this -- a great place in the woods and a great place to relax!”
