Loved this property! Cute, clean, and great view! Only a short walk to the beach and shops. The outdoor closet was filled with everything we needed for the beach as well as a wagon! We are a family of 4 and it was perfect for us. Would not recommend for people who have trouble navigating stairs as there are a lot.

Comfortable and Quiet

Beautiful newer townhouse set back 4 lots from the beach. The set up was very spacious for our family of 4. Lots of great beach gear was included which was great. Mexico beach is a wonderful getaway for those looking for a more quiet, less commercialized destination.A couple of suggestions for the rental company that maintains the unit: provide more dishwasher soap (2 tabs for a week’s stay isn’t quite enough) and some salt and pepper in the kitchen.

Great spring break house!

Me and a couple of my friends stayed here for spring break for the week and it was perfect! Very lowkey beach town and great beach access! So close to the beach and house was very clean! Nice outdoor shower! Would love to come back with my family

It was easy to rent this unit through VRBO. The place was exactly like VRBO advertised. It was an easy process to check in and check out, and I was pleased with the response time when I had questions. Thank you for an easy planned vacation.

Property management FAIL!

While the property is great, clean, beautifully decorated, perfect proximity to the beach…the property management team had some major lacking of communication to their owner which resulted in an invasion of privacy of the owner spying on us multiple times. From “visiting friends” to “lives in the area” and saw our service animal, But was upset that we had a “pet”. We had notified the property management team months before, and they dropped the ball to tell the owner. We Didn’t feel very welcome that I had to address this multiple times since the owner decided to sneak a peak a few times. How about don’t put your property up for rentals if you don’t like other people being in the home and going to watch them the whole time?! We were even asked again by the property management about the “pet” after we left to “update the owner about him seeing a pet dog” Sounds to me they were trying to charge a fee. Also the property did not have any of the beach supplies & grill as listed, nor any simple spice supplies such as salt and pepper as many properties we’ve stayed at before does. When we asked the property management about the missing beach supplies they said “those items do go missing from time-to-time”!

Very clean, nice house. But no supplies like salt, pepper, baggie, foil—/nothing. One small roll TP and one small paper towel so must purchase all items like that. Supplies only negative.

Great Getaway!

Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation! The space was incredibly clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed. We appreciated that there were empty cabinets and closets for us to unpack and settle in. The beach and sunsets - while not in your control - were spectacular!

This property was just as described. The location to the beach was great, as well as to a few restaurants. The vacation home was beautifully decorated, very clean and fully stocked with everything you could need. We will be back!

July 2022 Family Vacation

We were so excited about renting this house! The pictures do not do it justice!! The views from the house are amazing and the very short distance to the beach is spectacular and so convenient! Would definitely rent this property again!

Great Gulf Getaway

Had a great time with the family last week! Close to the beach, plenty of room for everyone, incredibly clean, and everything in “like new” condition! Restaurants close by (we loved Shipwrecked, The BrickWall, Uptown Raw Bar, and of course the ice cream-a side note-you are right on the Eastern/Central time zone line-so maybe consider that if trying to get to restaurants early). If I had to get picky, I’d love to see a cooking pot large enough to do a family sized low-country boil. Also, we were not able to locate the beach toys, wagon, etc. Anyone with mobility issues, may want to think about the stairs (3 levels). All in all, a great trip and we are planning to rebook for next year!

Perfection!

Great location close to beach. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Beach cart, chairs, and umbrellas were nice perks. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside is lack of restaurants in the area. If you need your Charmin' and down pillows, you may want to bring your own. Good workout climbing stairs, too. ;-)

A Few Days in Paradise

To be blunt, I’d prefer to write nothing about our stay at last weekend at 2501, unit C in Mexico Beach. This was such a perfect accommodation for us, we truly don’t want other folks to know about it... we’d like it to stay just the way it is for the next time we’re planning to spend time at the beach. This home is just about as perfect as anyone could want in a two-bedroom accommodation. As we are very picky about the places we stay. Beautifully (and abundantly) decorated throughout, this home looks as though it was finished and put on the temporary rental market yesterday. The entire home is spotless – top to bottom. There are too many wonderful things about this place to point out, but if you can imagine needing it for a stay at the beach – very likely what you’re thinking of will be there – in volumes that are a surprise and delight: dinnerware, flatware, serving pieces, toaster, blender, pots, pans, microwave, dishwasher, storage containers of all sizes, washer, dryer, towels, sheets, blankets... TVs, internet, name it, it’s there. On top of this, in the outside storage room there is everything you need for a day on the sand for a family of four. Chairs, umbrellas, children’s sand toys, floats, a roller cart (no kidding – a cart for taking it all to the beach... approximately 100 yards from the door.) On top of all of this, Sunshine Vacation Rentals are absolutely super to work with. When we needed something – anything at all, a call or text was all that was necessary to receive a quick response and resolution. They’re a local company – so there’s no need to worry about someone trying to resolve issues for you from halfway around the world. This visit to Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe was just about as perfect as we could have imagined. I couldn’t recommend this home or Sunshine Vacation Rentals any more highly.

25th Wedding Anniversary trip

As a very spur of the moment planned trip to the beach for a few days, this property was the absolute best. The decor was beautiful and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The townhome is literally steps from the beach which was so nice. The utility closet was stocked with beach chairs which allowed us to leave ours at home. We will most definitely stay in this beautiful townhome again.
