Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. “Absolutely amazing safaris. Highly recommend staying and doing at least the horse riding to get up close to the giraffes. Saw all the animals multiple times, cant complain about how close and often you see the animals. Each safari was unique and special. Also seeing the elephants and baboons outside our lodge on a morning was amazing. Lots to do and keep you busy between. Food, views, service, knowledge, wildlife were second to none.
