“Overall, it was a great place to stay for my husband and I. We stayed 4 nights and the house was comfortable and clean. The only note I have is that the door you enter the house has a really wide gap so I had to stuff a dish towel in it to keep to hot air out or maybe possible insects from outdoors. But, it is a historic house and definitely did not ruin the trip by any means. The house is in a great location but PLEASE take note of the street sweeper days and times, we got a ticket on our last...

“We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was fabulous—beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. It truly hit all the marks and was exactly what we were looking for.
The only small drawback was the rooftop club next door which could be heard late into the night, until around 1:00 a.m. That said, with the bedroom door closed, we couldn’t hear it at all, so it really didn’t impact our sleep.
Overall, this was an absolutely fabulous place to stay, and we would...

“The cottage was nice. The house had an odor from being closed up. The cottage was a little hard to find because it's in the back of another house and the only way to get to it is from another street. The parking is tight, but we didn't have a problem with our Ford F-150 truck because my husband is experienced with pulling trailers. The steps in the house are steep but has a railing to help. I would stay there again but my husband said no because he struggles with steps.”

“I have never been disappointed about anything when I stay here! This was my 5th time staying at the Oglethorpe Lodge. I have stayed in all 3 apartments. It is so convenient to everything and the parking spot is an added bonus. It's a MUST stay at if you are going to downtown Savannah.”

“The unit, the host and the setting were stellar. The only negative was from VRBO who touted onsite parking whereas reality was metered parking nearby which is dependent on time of day. Having said that loading and unloading is a breeze with the factors walk "alley" and the walk, no matter how far you have to walk is beautiful.”
