“Lovely old pub. The rooms great and clean but the beds were a bit bumpy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the first night, I had belly pork, which was very tender and tasty. The second night I had a burger, but it was dry. All in all, it was a great break”

“Our stay here was brief but I was happy to see that they were willing to serve dinner not long before closing. (There aren’t a lot of dining choices nearby.) It is an older property but everything functioned and was clean. Boot tray in the closet for wet boots was a good feature, although we lucked out with the weather. We also appreciated the bottled water. We enjoyed the cook-to-order breakfast and overall friendliness of the property. The view of the bridge and stream was outstanding. ”
