“This was a lovely stay in a beautiful location with access to boat rides and steam train. From here we visited Keswick, Ambleside and other towns in the Lake District including a must visit to Beatrix Potter’s house Hilltop. The hotel itself does feel a bit dated. The hotel room lacks the usual facilities of a four star hotel like no air con, no fridge and limited plug sockets. The hotel provided us with a plug adapter and fridge upon request ( for medication storage) which was incredibly...
