Casas de campo en Tarka Trail

“The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). I called the number given and was asked for a lot of information including my...

“What a beautiful cottage! We had a wonderful week. We had a small issue, which Mark bent over backwards to help sort out. It felt like home and we loved it. A great base for exploring the north coast, the community shop was a godsend. Highly recommended.”

“This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...

“Great little apartment with fantastic views across the estuary. Location fantastic with a ten minute walk to Instow and the beach. Apartment very well equipped. Lovely little touches with decorations ( almost too many not leaving much work top space in the kitchen). Up to date photos would be good on cottages.comMay be a bit cosy with 4 adults (we were 3 adults and dog )Slightly nit picking, would have helped to have settee across the lounge facing TV. Got a bit of neck ache. ( Especially if 3...

“Very happy with the accommodation. Pet friendlyLoved the nautical look bedroom. Didn’t know how to work the heater in the lounge area … wasn’t sure if it was on a timer. Communication with host 5 star ”

“All round very good experience”

“A comfortable clean compact cottage in an incredible location close to Hartland Quay and Hartland Point, the only minor issue being the sharp entry and exit to and from the drive. The cottage being upside down with the living area on the first floor and bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor is well equipped kitchen wise and an enormous double bed and dog friendly.Overall a very pleasant comfortable and welcoming cottage.”

“Very Nice Cottage, Direct at the Waterfront with a nice view. The cottage has everything that you Need for daily life.”

“Enough space for 6 of us, 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog. The house was arranged with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and the living quarters upstairs. The boys enjoyed the football table and PS4, and the dog enjoyed the small private garden and the enclosed field across the road. The property was clean and well looked after, and whilst very close to the House, we didn't hear any noise from our neighbours.”

“Absolutely charming place, lovely family run business, super welcoming, friendly, greeted by dogs, ducks and cows. Stunning peaceful location, just what I needed.”

“A lovely peaceful location, cottage well equipped and clean. Would recommend, not many amenities to hand without a drive. Lovely welcome pack included”

“Have been to Woolacombe many times and this was the best property we have stayed in. Comfy bed, good quality furnishings and great location within the village Only thing I was say is we used the washing machine and then couldn’t find a clothes dryer …. Maybe it’s there somewhere but we couldn’t find one ”

“Lovely place to stay with good facilities and EV charging, quiet and warm .Leave a donation for the EV charging, 7Kw type 2.Good wifi and Netflix.”

“The owner Simon was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal as it was quiet yet only a short distance from a B road which gave access to the wonderful scenery of Exmoor. I would thoroughly recommend The Old Mill as a holiday retreat.”

“Had a lovely stay at Meadow View and were lucky enough to enjoy warm spring weather. The bungalow has everything needed for self-catering, well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable seating and beds. The sea views are absolutely stunning and the garden is well stocked with flowers, trees and shrubs. All in all, a great place to stay\ ”

“I don’t know if a review is needed as day 2 of our stay a for sale board appeared outside! Room sizes great. As November we didn’t use the outside facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. The radiator in the family bathroom a friend burnt herself. It does get red hot so be careful. We struggled a bit with the heating as it was really cold at the beginning and then extremely warm. We knew it was remote but anyone not wanting to walk may find it a bit remote. Had a fantastic stay with some great...
