“* Access requires passage through a wooden gate on the East side of the main front house. Upon trying to enter the closed gate, there was no draw string to pull in order to release the latch. One would have to reach over the tall gate to release the latch. Same thing happened with an interior gate closer to the unit. No draw string attached. “This is a simple but comfortable little place in an absolutely beautiful location. Malibu's beaches are about 10 minutes away and there are lots of hiking options in the canyon as well. The town of Topanga has some great restaurants and coffee too. There is no A/C, but fans are provided and it gets cool at night. I felt like I was at a secret hideaway and loved it!”
