“The Legacy Inn is a beautiful place to stay. Everything is so clean and comfortable. Soft fluffy towels in the huge bathroom. (We were in the Eden Suite). Fresh crisp bedding and comfortable beds. It’s in a beautiful setting but within minutes of anywhere we wanted to go. Definitely would recommend this Inn.”

“We stayed in July 2026 in the Baldwin room and can provide very positive feedback. This self service hotel is very well run. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. The location is in the quiet city centre near the university. When parking in the back of the hotel guests need to park close to the fence/wall to leave space for the other cars to maneuver. We were never able to reach the hotel team on the phone but they are very efficient inn communicating via email/text. Please be aware...

“We had a wonderful one night stay at the WMI. The property is beautiful, we loved the decor, the staff is incredibly nice and the owner is extremely friendly. We enjoyed happy hour and the breakfast the next morning was delicious and with a wonderful view of the mountains. We will definitely stay here again hopefully soon! ”

“The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...
