“Impossible to beat the proximity to Volcanos NP. The price point is fantastic relative to similar properties. The rooms were clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Welcome treat was a great touch. The property itself was cool and definitely decorated in a unique, cool manner. But what made this place excellent were the hosts, Joy and John, who clearly want your stay to be great. And ours was.”

“If you are a backcountry camper, this is for you! The hut is situated in primitive setting of rain forest. You can imagine a big tent but in wood sitting in the woods. I like the nature surrounding and the art deco. However, lack of electricity and a modern bathroom is a big downside. The host is friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, descriptions of the property and instructions to the property aren't sufficiently clear.”

“Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. Will be sending many people their way. Stop looking around and book this place!!”

“We stayed here at Beach Road Hale for my brothers wedding and it was the perfect spot for myself and three others. We weren’t in the house much, we would leave early in the morning and come back late at night and we couldn’t have found a better place. Highly recommend if you are running around the island and just need a place to rest your head!1”

“Quiet and breezy. There is a/c but we didn't need to run it and could hear the birds chirping most of the day. Plenty of room for two people with a standard sized refrigerator, king bed, good storage for clothes, etc. We stayed here a few years ago when it first became a rental, and the years and guests haven't been kind to the property. Everything is showing wear and tear. The lanai is private and gets a good breeze but the wicker furniture is starting to split in several places. Towels are...

“We had a fabulous stay and absolutely loved the cabin's lanais, all the natural light, the kitchen, propane fireplace, open concept, and wood features. The cabin was easy to get to and the access road is well maintained. We enjoyed cooking dinners every night and even enjoyed some cocktails out on the lanai using the stemware provided. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!”
