“What a wonderful little hideaway! Small efficiency with a king bed that’s heated!! Gets a bit cool in the evenings but there’s a space heater to keep us comfy!! Kitchenette’s just right for a couple of days exploring the Volcano & surrounding area!! Host is very nice & responds quickly!! Would return again!! ”

“The apartment is large and well furnished; it has a great Hawaiian jungle setting, with very large and Ventilated windows to overlook that jungle. The kitchen is superb. The gas fireplace works well and is great at night to just sit in front of. Nice, large bathroom with hot water shower (but please conserve). The king mattress is very comfortable. I only needed two things: a bath mat and a regular coffee or espresso maker (Keurig provided)”

“Our family had stayed in the gecko room for a week more than 15 years ago and had such a great time that they were excited to find and re-book. We recognized the beautiful location nestled among treeferns and planted with anthuriums right away. Located in a residential neighborhood so very quiet yet close enough to lots of things to do.”

“Only there has been a little confusion when after booking 2 units for 2 people, and paying a full price, I received suddenly a message that one of my 2 units was cancelled. It made me worried about how I could accommodate both of us. At the end my 2nd person got ill and couldn’t come, so I used the one unit Nane.”

“This property the Aloha Green House Retreat is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and clean. The host “Ruth” is super nice and organized. The house is located in a quiet, safe, and affluent neighborhood. The plus is the view of the ocean. This place is a must stay. ”

“There were definite highs and lows to this property. The rooms were very clean and there was great entertainment options (games available to play) and lots of beds, which is what we wanted. However, we really wanted the hot tub which this property advertised, but was clearly not being uproot or available for use. There was one line in the posting, that the water is not drinkable. I applaud that this property is so green, but it was somewhat inconvenient for utilizing water. The biggest complaint...

“From our first impression to check out, we were so impressed with the Aloha Green House. Easy to find and parking is great. It’s a level walk from your parking spot to the front door with one step up into the spacious apartment. Great for those with mobility issues. The apartment is one big room, open concept, combination living/dining/kitchen with two bedrooms and one bath directly off of this great room. There are labels everywhere to help you acclimatize. “Beautiful gardens and lovely accomodations. Clean and colorful unit with everything we needed. Proximity to south point was great for partner to go fishing off the shore. No AC, but weather is cooler and great breeze coming through house. Evenings were filled with frogs singing. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Would love to stay here again.”
