“The Bali Temple was an absolute dream to stay in! We loved how it was so far away from the bigger cities and how quiet and relaxing it was. We walked the lava run every day to see the ocean- it is exactly as advertised! The host was lovely and responsive. The only thing I wish we’d known ahead of time is that there is no stove or oven but there is a hot plate! Prepare your meals accordingly! Otherwise it was absolutely perfect and we had the best time. ”

“The "rain forest" gardens were so luscious with a myriad of vines, ferns, flowers and towering plants with quirky little artsy items tucked in. We loved sitting on our porch whenever we were at "home". We felt very safe and welcome. The hosts stopped by to chat and let us know what was happening nearby. Loved that coffee and basic spices were in our kitchenette. Good location for our explorations. ”

“I was in Hilo for a month for work and stayed at Maggie's place. It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs. Various places to eat or get groceries that are within a 10 min walk or a couple of mins drive. Maggie was an exceptional host, very quick to respond and very kind to me on my arrival after a 25h trip.
