“The Queens was a little gem in the countryside. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent and far exceeded normal pub fair. The room was small but well appointed and clean. The location was great for visiting Hadrian's Wall. Breakfast was also quite nice.”

“Good location with convenient access to the pool and restaurant. Our room was a tad cramped.”

“I stayed for one night and appreciated having an affordable place close to the station, with plenty of shops nearby. I was also happy to find a kettle with coffee and tea, which made for a fresh and pleasant morning. The only downside was that there was no hand soap or shampoo provided, which would have made the stay more comfortable. Overall, I’m satisfied with what I received for the price and happy with my stay”

“The quality of the breakfast was excellent with local quality produce where possible and the staff were helpful and polite. Good onsite private parking. Unfortunately the room was poor, on the second floor in the attic with sloping roof, it felt claustrophobic. The Bed was a small double the tv was small the bathroom was tiny with nowhere to put washbag etc. basically ok as a single but not a double. It was also extremely hot with only a small window for ventilation.”
