“We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

“This is my second stay here and it's not my last. This hotel looks unremarkable from the outside but it is beautiful on the inside. Open fires, stunning wood beam ceilings, a fantastic pool and the rooms are spotless. There are spa treatments available but we didn't make use of them this time. The treatments are a bit pricey but i think if you buy a spa package when you're booking your room it works out cheaper, so have a look. The staff in the hotel are all lovely and very friendly. “The breakfast was delicious hommade food, woth lots of choice, added fruits and yogurt. Very tasty. The hosts made you feel like home, very well woth communication and making sure you're happy. The room I stayed was Gretna amd they are stylishly simple and comfortable. There's fresh water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even a delicious hommade cookie. Shower was super clean, with Shower gel, shampoo and vanity kit available. ”
