“We really enjoyed our stay. Our host did an outstanding job making us feel welcome, and the property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect with a huge lawn right on the Chena River! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, our kids enjoyed paddleboarding on the river, and our dog enjoyed exploring the spacious yard. The home itself has a unique, old time Alaska feel to it, and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed reading some of the articles hanging up about the history...

“Quiet area near trails, stores and restaurants ”

“ This was a cute place for our family of 4. They thought of everything when it comes to amenities. It was very clean and cozy. If you don’t mind the sound of F22s and trains it is a perfect place. Hearing those through the night and in the morning was a delight for us. Very easy to find. Wash and dryer in unit is a great option for a longer stay. Highly recommend for families. Even had a pack n play of you have a little that is too small for a twin bed. ”

“I absolutely loved this property and wish I could have enjoyed a longer stay! Everything about the cabin was so cute! The kitchen was fully stocked and I stayed plenty warm. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe. I would stay here every time I came to Girdwood. ”

“We had a good stay here. The bedrooms were a good arrangement for our group mixed teens, single guys, single gals, and a married couple. The washer and dryer came in handy too. We barely used the hot tub but it was nice to have the option. The house is located in a nice neighborhood and is easy to navigate to everywhere. I highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again. ”
